Thanks to everyone that came out in the miserable rain to get to the Welcome Party!
Hope it was just as fun for you as it was for us. And also hope you're all warmed up for our Week 2 Events!

This week we have a collaborative Weekly Meetup with Cast On Charity Group! Come to Graham Cornish B (on the second floor of Union House) from 2:15 pm to 4:15 pm on Tuesday the 10th of March for a crash course on knitting.

Later in the week, we have our first Movie Night of the semester! We'll be screening the charming first production of Studio Ponoc: Mary and the Witch's Flower. It'll happen at Arts West's Forum Theatre (Room 153 in their North Wing) from 6:15 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday the 12th of March.

Rest of this post has fuller write ups. Also don't forget that screenings continue as well so make sure to make it to those!

Cast On Charity Group are a knitting club who also sell their creations to raise funds for charity. At this meetup, they'll be providing materials (as well as some templates potentially) for those that want to try their hand at a bit of knitting. Come along and see what they're all about as well as make some personalised anime stuff.

Movie Night will include a free Pocky and drink provided you've signed the green sheet. Studio Ponoc is famously formed out of former Studio Ghibli staff and their debut movie is a delightful fantasy story based on Mary Stewart's Little Broomstick.
