Screenings will be happening Semester 2!

Screenings are happening five times a week in this semester. Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays are having screenings from 1 pm - 2 pm while Tuesdays are having them from 12 pm - 2 pm. Come on whichever days your timetable allows and choose from a wide range of shows to follow along with us!

If you can't find the library just inside the screening room it may not be available that day - we try and make sure it's at every screening, but sometimes it's just not possible. If you'd like to check if it'll be available at a specific day, please email [email protected].

A map of the screening locations can be found here.

If you're still (understandably) lost trying to find the screening room, we recommend using this site (they have a handy smartphone app too).

Requiring no knowledge of any other Gatchaman series’, Gatchaman Crowds follows one Ichinose Hajime (CV: Uchida Maaya) as she joins an organisation that saves the world from the shadows, though she doesn’t necessarily fit the mould of a classical superhero. The show is a lot of fun and definitely worth the watch!

Friday - Girls und Panzer

Girls und Panzer

Panzerfahren, Sci-Fi, Tanks, Strategy, Slice of Life, Action, Panzer Vor, Warfare, School, 2012

Next Screening: Friday, 26 August 2016
Time: 1:00PM - 2:00PM
Episode(s): 9 - 10

Place: Old Geology, Theatre 2

The name “Girls und Panzer” often conjures up images of something which is more girl than panzer, but erase that thought, because in Girls und Panzer, the opposite is most certainly the case. Girls und Panzer takes place in a world where Panzerfahren (Tank Driving) is seen as a ladylike pursuit, and follows a number of the students of Ooarai Academy as they make their way into the world of panzerfahren. Also we’ll be showing the movie (which doesn’t need knowledge of the original series) as our second movie, you’ll probably get more out of the movie if you’ve seen the show, so why not watch both?

For Film Night II we've got the Girls und Panzer der Film on 1/9, come along! =)
