O-Week with AMC
A new year is starting, which means more members to meet, and more anime and manga to procrastinat- watch and read!
Of course, it wouldn't be a proper new year without O-Week events!
Firstly, is club sign-ups! Come say hi to the new club members and rejoin the club for another year! The membership fee is the usual $5. Of course, if you're unable to make it or brave the Australia summer, then you can sign-up at our other events or at the below marathons.
Event: O-Week Stall
Date: 25th of February (this Thursday!)
Time: 11 am - 3 pm
Location: South Lawn
Secondly, on BOTH days of O-Week, we will be running anime marathons! We cycle through shows throughout the day, so feel free to drop in and out as you like!
Event: Marathon
Date: 25th and 26th of February (this Thursday and Friday!)
Time: 9 am - 5 pm
Location: Parkville- Old Geology B25 (Theatre 2) [(Map reference: G19), on the West side of Old Geology]
Lastly, after the marathon session on Friday, we'll be having dinner at our sponsors, Ramen Ya at the Emporium.
In terms of our upcoming screenings, unfortunately the bookings have yet to be confirmed so we can't provide much details on them at this time. We are however striving to have screenings from 1 - 2 pm on weekdays, as well as 12 - 1 pm on Tuesdays, but this is unfortunately not yet locked. Sorry all!
