Movie Night and Manga Event - 27/8 and 30/8
Have the feeling that last week's movie night wasn't enough? Not a problem, we have another one lined up in Week 5 to combat the onslaught of assignments and dry lectures. For this night, we will be screening a Studio Ghibli title from 2011: From Up On Poppy Hill. As usual, there will be a few OVAs played beforehand if your lectures finish early.

If that isn't enough for you, we also have another Manga Discussion Event lined up on Friday 30th of August. The theme for this session will be Romance and Drama and as per usual, we strongly encourage you to bring your manga, whether it be in physical or digital form and we'll supplement that with some physical copies from Rowden White library.

In line with tradition, we will be handing out free pocky and drinks at these events. Feel free to bring along a bunch of mates and be prepared for plenty of entertainment. Everyone is welcome at these open events.
