Movie Night 30/03/17 - The Boy and the Beast
Hi everyone!
How is everyone finding the new semester so far? Assignments? Mid-sem tests? Well all we can say to you is good luck and wait for the Mid-Sem break coming up.
That said, whether you’re busy with assignments and could use a break, or if you… aren’t, we’ve got our first movie night next week! Come along and check it out!
The movie we’ll be showing is the movie The Boy and the Beast. This is an absolute must watch movie by Hosoda Mamoru who also gave us the incredible Wolf Children. The film is the most successful film ever made by Hosoda, overcoming both Wolf Children and Summer Wars. The Boy and the Beast tells the dramatic story of Ren (Kyuuta) and Kumatetsu, who have just met each other, learning to accept and understand one another. We (Dohwon) have been planning to show this film since last year, and we (Dohwon) are very delighted to finally being able to share this incredible movie with you guys. Hope to see you guys there!
