Taiga, Panty & Stocking and Hello Kitty Haul

First up are my first ever Nendroid purchase: Panty and Stocking. When I saw these advertised I simply had to buy them even though I a) don't like Nendroids, and b) P&SwG wasn't a particularly great series (given the pedigree of those responsible).

I'm not fond of Nendroids, in part because of all the accessories you're given - being lazy, I've no intention of ever changing their poses or accessories. I guess I should at least be happy that I can choose what looks best when I first set them up and display them.

Overall I'm pretty impressed with the quality, little details like the different patterns on the guns (each representing one of the girls' panties) and the fact that there are optional panty-less bottoms for both the girls (for if Panty plans to wield both her weapons).

Next up is Taiga from Toradora. Based on a piece of art the model is just what I expected (well perhaps a tiny bit smaller).

 Everything about this model is lovely. It comes with two faces (happy and tsun) and two tails (one being in the shape of a love heart). My only issue is that normal tail seems to have a small blotch of paint on the end =(

Finally I got the latest POP based model - a Hello Kitty complete with a favourite of mine: the white school mizugi.

Overall the quality of the model seems really nice. But there are a few dissapointing things. Most obviously is the back foot is lower than the front flat foot (which is what secures the model to the base). So there is about 2mm or so of space between the base and her main foot which is very unfortunate (you can see it a little bit in the image above).

Some of the paint job appears a bit sub par, but I suppose the lovely shiny bike makes up for it.
