What is the movie about?
Do You Remember Love follows the Macross, an alien ship crewed by humans after its discovery on Earth a decade ago. Stranded in space and fighting the enormous fleet of the humanoid giants, the Zentradi. Amongst the chaos of battle, how can humanity survive? Could it all rest on a single pop star's voice?
Essentially a retelling of the events of the original Macross series, DYRL is an absolute masterpiece and what truly propelled the Macross franchise from an interesting parody of the Gundam formula into a household name. The movie features, and truly solidifies, the three elements of Macross: transforming mecha, singing, and love triangles. If you've ever seen a Macross show and wondered how it all started, or are in any way interested in science fiction anime, you absolutely have to join us.

The set start time for the movie is approximately 6:40PM, but we have the room booked from 6:15, so feel free to come along beforehand for a chat.
In addition to this exciting movie news, from next Monday (September 4th) we'll have some new screenings running.
The new screenings will be at the same time and location as the previous screenings, we'll just be showing different anime!

The Melancholoy of Haruhi Suzumiya will be replaced with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Season 2 - Wednesday: Dennou Coil becomes... Wait, Dennou Coil is longer than I thought. More Dennou Coil!
- Thursday: Hibike! Euphonium will now be... You guessed it more Hibike! Euphonium (season 2, in fact!)
- Friday: Akagami no Shirayukihime will become Akagami no Shirayukihime (More season 2's?), and finally
Katanagatari has pretty long episodes, so even if it's only 12, we'll be showing Katanagatari still...
